Appearance Light yellow bead D402 is an iminodiacetic acid chelating resin. Because of its specially designed pore structure, this resin has not only high capacity, but also excellent mechanical strength. Because of this, D402 has been widely used in brine purification in chlor-alkali industry, calcium and magnesium removal from LiHCO3, nonferrous metal adsorption and recovery, and heavy metal removal from various waste waters, etc.
D402 iminodiacetic acid chelating resin can adsorb metal ions with two and/or two plus valent in the presence of large amount of monovalent metal ions. The resin can be used in single column or two columns connected in series. The later will give the resin a higher capacity and a better removal efficiency. When exhausted, D402 should be eluted first with acid, and then be converted into Na-form for next run. The acid used could be sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid. According to different applications, the concentration of the acid used could be in the range of 3-15%. However, when there is risk of precipitation (such as CaSO4), the acid used should be carefully selected. Contact Us:
